Collection: DMD
Bergamo, 1975. A family business with a passion for enduro decides to bring the helmet shapes of yesteryear to life with modern technology – thus DMD is born. DMD (named after Davide, Michela, and Danila – the family's three children) is today the market-leading brand for Italian retro helmets. The company's philosophy is simple: they take the iconic helmet shapes of the 70s as their basis, then rebuild them with a modern shell structure based on carbon-kevlar and fiberglass, in accordance with the latest ECE safety standards. The result is helmets that are compact and lightweight – avoiding the "big head" effect common with many retro helmets – yet meet today's safety expectations. In our selection, you'll find DMD helmets, from classic jet (open-face) models to full-face pieces reminiscent of 70s racing helmets, offering complete facial protection. Every DMD helmet is made in Bergamo, Italy, with hand-painted finishes – so no two helmets are exactly alike – and typically features a removable, washable inner lining, and a secure double-D ring closure. DMD helmets perfectly complement café racer, vintage, scrambler, and custom motorcycle styles, fitting a Harley-Davidson as well as a Triumph or a classic Guzzi. If you're looking for a helmet that not only protects but also becomes a part of your motorcycle's and your style's character, DMD offers exactly this: Italian craftsmanship, attention to every detail, and a design language that never goes out of style.
